Predicting Startup Unicorns Using Quant Models
We provide a dataset of hundreds of traits of startup founders. The objective is to build models to predict which founder teams are most likely to become billion dollar companies. You can use any other public datasets you can find as well. We will test your model on a hidden dataset to determine the winners.

The Judges and Awards
The top three finalists will have the opportunity to meet and chat with Jeremy Vosko and Shyam Gonella to discuss their models, design choices and how they can be applied to private markets, public markets or other markets in an institutional manner. These meetings and your performance have the the potential to turn into a full time internship or job at Quanta Ventures.
Jeremy Vosko
Jeremy was a Portfolio Manager at DRW and CTC for over 15 years, specializing in Options Trading. Before that, he won the national championship in Bridge at the University of Michigan. He also won the DRW firm wide poker competition and participated in the World Series of Poker.
Shyam Gonella
Shyam was most recently a Founding Engineer for an Options Pod at Millennium, trading SPX, QQQ and a variety of strategies on single ticker options. Before that he helped to start a Volatility Based Hedge Fund focused on Options and Commodities.
